Mafube Local Municipality is considering the leasing of various Municipal properties for investment, economic development, agricultural, commercial industrial, tourism and community development purposes. The Municipality has undertaken preliminary due diligence, including verification of ownership zoning and land use rights. Further assessments are currently underway.
Interested and affected parties are invited to submit their proposals on the identified properties within 30 days from the 10 of July 2026 to the Office of Municipal Manager, at 64 JJ Hadebe Street, Frankfort, 9830 or email to Ms. K Mello the Acting Manager Town Planning at gislanduse@mafubelm.co.za by the 10th of August 2026. Mafube Local Municipality also intends to dispose of a portion of municipal property known as Portion 77 of Farm Dorp 74 (Wilge Estate), Frankfort. Council, at its meeting held on 29 May 2026, approved in principle the disposal of the identified portion, subject to compliance with all applicable legislative requirements. Members of the public are hereby invited to submit written representations regarding the proposed disposal within 30 days from the 10th of July 2026 to the Office of Municipal Manager at 64 JJ Hadebe Street Frankfort, 9830 or email to Ms. K Mello the Acting Manager Town Planning at gisianduse@mafubelm.co.za by the 10th of August 2026.
